Hi Friends,
I am adding a volumen in max db database and the server restart and this moment.
After the server restart the database doesn't start because the file of the volumen is not accesible.
This volumen does not contain data. How can we delete o recreate this volumen?
C:\Documents and Settings\xsdadm.NET2004S>dbmcli -d XSD -u SUPERDBA,admin
dbmcli on XSD>param_getvolsall
OK
LOG_MIRRORED YES
MAXLOGVOLUMES 2
MAXDATAVOLUMES 11
LOG_VOLUME_NAME_001 131073 F D:\sapdb\XSD\saplog\DISKL001
M_LOG_VOLUME_NAME_001 F D:\sapdb\XSD\saplog\M_DISKL001
DATA_VOLUME_NAME_0001 2176001 F H:\sapdb\XSD\sapdata\DISKD0001
DATA_VOLUME_NAME_0002 2621440 F e:\sapdb\XSD\sapdata\DISKD0002
is it possible to change the location?
Thanks in advanced.

Hello Paco Hernandis ,
-> How did you add the datavolume?
Was the datavolume physically created on the database server after you add the datavolume?
Was database running before you restart the database server?
Did you stop the database before you reboot the server?
-> Please post the knldiag file to see the configuration of the database parameters, version of the database & exactly error you are getting.
Thank you and best regards, Natalia Khlopina

Hello Nathalia,
thanks for your help. I have applied the command param_delvolume <volno> <volmode>
I see it in the help http://sapdb.net/7.4/htmhelp/10/698c338a7811d5aab1006094b92fad/frameset.htm
I could applied this command because the volumen are empty. The server crash when the database is creating the volumen.
I have deleted the volumen and start the database and created another same in other place and all seems ok.
Thanks in advanced.
Paco Hernandis.
