CCM 1.0 upgrade

Hi All,

Presently we are working with CCM 1.0. Can any one tell me upto which year SAP supports CCM 1.0. If we want upgrade to SRM-MDM 2.0 catalogs, can we upgrade directly from CCM 1.0 to SRM-MDM 2.0? What are the impacts in this upgradation?

Hi Nawen,

I believe SAP supports CCM until 2013, but you'd better double-check with your SAP rep.

Yes, you can upgrade from CCM 1.0 to SRM-MDM 2.0. This is not an automated upgrade, i.e. you cannot simply run a program to upgrade. You basically install and configure SRM-MDM, move all the catalog data, and discontinue the use of CCM. The detailed impacts for your environment are usually assessed during the upgrade project.
