Hi DS,

Go to http://<hostname>:<port>/irj/portal

You need to login with Administrator(atleast Content admin) credentials.

Then Click on Content Admin tab on top-> This is called Portal content Studio.

Open Portal Content. Browse to you folder(if you are working on your client system be careful you must take permission) and then create a folder if youhave not any already. In the folder you can create iViews, Plages and worksets and Then Roles.

coming to EP version,

Go to System Admiinstration-> Sytem Config

On Left side you can find System Info, click on this

There you can find WAS version and EP version etc..

Create a role-> add the page to this role [Open the role, right click on the page -> select add the page to role]

Go to User Admin,

Search for userId [or groups] whom this role needs to visible.

Click on modify.

In the bottom of the screen you have tab Assigned roles , open the tab

Left side of the tab enter <yourrole> Search

Then select the role and press Add button

Finally Save [don't forget otherwise you can not see your application]

If the role is displayed then OK or else log off and log in.

Hi DS,

When are getting this error? Are you running the application successfully from NWDS? If you have created the iView successfully, click on iView and select the preview. Tell me result. And please mention your Portal version also.
