Jet form and Adobe form

Dear all,

I would like to know what is the difference between Jetform and Adobe form. I heard that Jet form is a older version and adobe form is the latest version.

Or the jet form is also called as Adobe form?

New to these things. Please let me know.

Hi Amarnath,

Jetform is quite an old product orginally built by Acellio software. Later this company was bought by Adobe.

Jetform is a product that uses a datastring from SAP(for example generated by SAPscript) and picks data fields from this string. These data fields are interpreted and are run through a pre-compiled from.

Adobe forms are either created via Adobe professional or in SAP itself via Adobe Interactive forms.

Adobe forms themselves have nothing to do with SAP itself and can be used as generic IT solution.

With Adobe interactive forms the Adobe forms can be pre-filled with SAP data and later send back to SAP for processing.
