disp+work.EXE Stopped

When I tried to start the XI server, the disp+work.EXE goes to stop status.

I am getting the below info in the developer trace for disp+work.EXE.

make DISP owner of wp_ca_blk 1

DpRqPutIntoQueue: put request into queue (reqtype 1, prio LOW, rq_id 15)

MBUF component DOWN

NiICloseHandle: shutdown and close hdl 3 / sock 1512

NiBufIClose: clear extension for hdl 3

MsIDetach: detach MS-system

cleanup EM

EsCleanup ....

EmCleanup() -> 0

Es2Cleanup: Cleanup ES2

***LOG Q05=> DpHalt, DPStop ( 1896) [dpxxdisp.c 10259]

which OS version?

firewall activated?

what information did you find in dev_disp? (sapmmc, right click on disp+wirk.exe of the process list, Tracefile)

i guess the problem is related to the firewall

Hi,

The mentioned info in this thread, I have taken it from the the dev_disp only.

Could you please tell me how to check the firewall activation option?

Hi,

I suggest you check if Java runtime properly installed on your system. You can also goto SAP Log viewer to see more detail about error.

You can find standalone SAP log viewer somewhere in c:\usr\SAP\<sysid>\
