CheckDB: Last 'idr' operation failed.

In db13 our CheckDB always has the following warning:

BR0973W Database operation alert - level: WARNING, operation: sdwsutyj.idr, time: 2007-12-04 11.29.25, condition: Last 'idr' operattion failed with rc = 4

In db14 I can see that a Rebuild indexes task failed. No log exists for this task. At the o/s level I cannot find the file mentioned (e.g. sdwsutyj.idr).

I know it's only a warning, but it keeps recurring and I'd like to fix it/get rid of it. How can I find what's trying to rebuild the indexes and get a more detailed error description.

It's happening on a solaris solman 3.2 oracle 9 system. You know, Solman, that 'free' system we have to have that I seem to spend so much time trying to administer.

Did you check the br*tools permission? Maybe you get the error because the log can't be written.

Afterwards you can analyze the log.

Hi Philip,

What does the file sdwsutyj.idr contain ?

Can you post any warnings/errors found in the file ?

As per my original message, the file does not exist at the operating system level.
