Hi sap gurus,

Why SAP Solution manager will be implemented in the companies? AND What purpose they will implement.

How it will reduce the risk and Total cost of the Ownership(TCO)?

Hi,

We can use Solman for any of the projects i.e Implementation,Rollout and support and upgrade.

Basic use of this is,

-Test cases prepartation.

-Store blue print documnet.

-All project related documentation.

Like we have lot of options in solman..But if we want to use this we have use it on regular basis,otherwise it's very difficult to remember navigation.

By doing the test cases and documentation automation during project period it's reducing the opearting cost.

Because if you do manual testing it requries lot of efforts and co-ordination,by doing this we cannot estimate time correctly.That is why we use Solman for automatic test cases.this is one instance just.

There is complete forum for Solution Manager. Implementing Solution manager is mandatory now a days.
