Hi Gurus,
We have to create an APO report that will display the BOM of different materials consisting of Finished Goods, Phantom Assembly, and the Raw materials. Unfortunately, I have found no relevant Table in APO which will consist the data needed for this report.
I also found out that in PDS the data is stored in different format and you need a function module to extract the data.
Please help on what function module needed and what is the best way to on how to proceed.
We are using SCM 5.0.
Thanks in advance,
Raymond
Hi Raymond - Try using BAPI_PDSSRVAPS_GETLIST to retrieve the PDS data you are looking for. You will need to apply whatever logic is needed to present the data in the format you need like possibly looking up product attributes in the product master. The BAPI does contain documentation.

Andy

Hi Gurus,
Thanks a lot for the reply! This really helps! Greatly appreciated.
Hi Andrew,
Yep, we need it the report to be customised so it will give the Finished Good, the Phantom Material, and the Raw Material in succesive order so the user can monitor if the Material BOM are tranferred accordingly and they can check if the Finished Good is link to its BOM.
Thanks and Best Regards,
Raymond
You should be able to find PPDS PDS tables in SE16 with /SAPAPO/CURTO_P, /SAPAPO/CURTO_PP and /SAPAPO/CURTO_PR.
In SE37, you can search for function modules pertaining to PDS with search string /sapapo/CURTO*. There are ways to retrieve informaiton on components etc.
You may check if the above info is enough for making such a report, which I guess should be.

As I said in the previous note, the function modules can be searched in SE37 with the search string /sapapo/CURTO*. There is no function module that can directly give you the report you are looking for. Constructing such a report may not require using FM though. It is a simple join of the tables that I mentioned in the previous note. You may want to explore constructing a custom view for this purpose with your developers.
