Installing Sneak Preview SAP NetWeaver 04 Slim Edition ? Step by Step

Hi

I have downloaded Sneak Preview SAP NetWeaver 04 Slim Edition could you please tell me how to install this component on a local machine to use SAP GUI 6.4

my OS is :

windows 2003 server

and i have installed :

JAVA J2SE SDK version 1.4.2_09

JAVA JRE 1.4.2_09

and SAP GUI 6.4 with patches

I done your instruction before.

but while installing Sneak Preview SAP NetWeaver 04 Slim Edition i got some errors and the installation terminated without any unuseful files.

how can i know weather this installation is successful or not.

what should i install before start "Sneak Preview SAP NetWeaver 04 Slim Edition" installation.

and what should have after a sucessfull installation.

PS:i have installed MaxDB 7.6

Hi Javad,

it should be quite easy:

- Download the File

- Extract it to a temporary folder. I suggest to use "C:\Temp" because there are some prolems on Windows when Path names came to long.

- Initiate installation by clicking on the start.exe file in the main directory.

- Apply the default settings

I haven't done the Slim Edition Installation. But I download it and will write a weblog on the installation.
