SAP NW CE 7.1: Rendering of Web Dynpro for Java Mobile Applications

Hello,

is it right that the rendering of Web Dynpro for Java Mobile Application for Pocket PCs is done on server? I don't find any informations in in the library http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce10/helpdata/en/42/c136cb0f241d66e10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm about this.

Whereas the rendering of Web Dynpro Application executed in the Portal or from a local Windows Client (explaned here http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce10/helpdata/en/79/23c7410400c717e10000000a155106/frameset.htm) is done on clientside?

Regards,

Armin

All browser-based clients use server-side rendering, e.g. the "normal" HTML Client (what you call "application executed in Portal") and the client for mobile devices like Pocket IE.

The so called "Smart Clients" (Windows, Java, Flex) use the BCXML protocol and client-side rendering.
