Can anybody tell me How manySAP versions are there? And what is difference between them?
Hi ,
I am also trying to find out about the differences in ECC 6.0 and 4.7 from SD side.
I tried this transaction so99 in ECC 6.0.
It gives a screen for sending doc to someone.
What kind of screen should be visible?
I have seent he solution browser, but i was exploring this other possibility also.

Hi Raja,
I think King and Prasanth have answered your first question regarding the different versions available in SAP.
Whereas to find out the difference between different versions you can go to transaction SO99 and find out what exactly is the difference between the versions...like for eg: IF you go to ECC 6.0 and check it would give you all the updates it has got when compared to previous versions(like release 4.x,ECC x)
Hope it helps.
Rgds,
Aram K.

here are so many differences between the version in different objects
I will explain in two or more objects the difference
1 in the customer master in 4.6 version there is no partner function tab in the customer in xd01 t-code
and also there is no CIN tab in that version
but it is there in the 4.7 EE version
This is the major change from the 4.6cc to 4.7EE
2. in 4.7EE there is some settings that are related for CIN
which cannot be done in 4.7EE that means they need some patches for doing the configuration setting for the CIN
