Business Area??

Hi,

I configured the enterprise structure right from Client, CoCd, plants, divisions etc. but not Business Area since I don't want to. After creating the reqd Master data viz. CMR, MMR etc, when I go to VA01 and enter the material it shows the error "Business Area not maintained/determined for item 00010". While going further into error it says the plant is assigned to a CoCd which requires Business Area to be maintained, though no where while configuring I maintained BA.

I would like to know how and why it is coming? What to do?

Note: I've maintained IN as country.

hi

the problem may be in your company code you must have activated the buissness area

goto oby6 remove the buissness area tick if it is there ?

or

in spro-> assignment -> sales and distribution-> buissness area account assignment -> define rules per sales area . here remove the rule if you have given

try this

SproSDBasic FunctionsAccounting/Costing-Business area account assignment--Business area to plant and division...

This might be because ur Company code would be configured for " business area financial statments" in financial account- global setting of company code

This will fix your problem
