SOAP TO R/3 sceanrio what is the soap system name?

HTTP TO R/3 sceanrio what is the http system name?

like that i want the system names involved in the project?

pls dont give the links to the scenarios above

The word legacy from XI point of view says "NON SAP SYSTEM"

if for the scenarion such as

SOAP TO R/3 sceanrio what is the soap system name?

HTTP TO R/3 sceanrio what is the http system name

if you need the SOAP BS name or HTTP BS,,,,these BS names are depending upon the project, ingeneral any leagacy name will be decided on the Business purpose or the plant name where they are using for....

there is no fixed naming conventions for this, the only namnig convention is the suitable name with which you will odentify its usuage

for EX: SOAP

if there is an system which is exposing the strucutre as webservive and that system used to keep materal informatin....

then its BS name can be BS_Material_SOAP ....

hi chandrakanth,

1. Legacy system is one which remain untouched. e.g. a main frame or another system which may explore their interfaces(A standalone or An outside App) only to the SAP. These systems should be registered in the SLD to communicate with PI(XI).

read : Business Systems

System Landscape Directory, Technical Systems i am not giving the link search sdn

2&3 ( give me the scenario link.. anyway i am giving a try......

2. A SOAP will explore a Web Service.

If SOAP is sender, the XI will provide a web service.

and in the WSDL, you can find the SOAP Location and SOAP actions.

3. for HTTP, we need an HTTP Client.

and i am not sure about what you asked in 2 and 3.
