Homogeneous System Copy

Hi:

I'm making a System Copy with the tool brdb6brt from RHP to RHQ (New

Server, AIX, DB2).

In the process i have the next problem:

Steps for the Reconstruction

Step 1: I install my DB2 Enterprise Database Server Edition

Without a problem

Step 2: I install my FIXPACK for DB2 8.1.1.1

Without a problem

Step 3: I install my ECC 5.0 Central Instance (NOT UNICODE, NOT LDAP,

NOT MCOD)

Without a problem

Step 4: I make a backup and scrip with the tool BRDB6BRT from RHP

Without a problem

Step 5: I Edit my scrip and rename all Containers, table space and

units from RHP to RHQ.

Without a problem

Step 6: I install my Data base instance, in this moment a say to the

installation System Copy, and not R3load

Step 7: The installation solicits to me recovers backup and click over

the OK button for continue.

Step 8:I restore my Backup with the command line db2 -vtf -SCRIPT--

Without a problem

Step 9: I click over the OK button and the installation continue, but

in the moment of creating the EventsMonitor, i have the next problem:

ERROR 2007-12-06 02:11:11

MOS-01012 PROBLEM: '/sapmnt/RHQ/exe/saplicense -R3Setup RHQ "U5YU43IX"

TRACE=2' returned with '254' which is not a defined as a success code.

The cuestion is, HOW i can solve it?

Hi,

I have the same error when I preform homogeneous system copy on linux / oracle platform.

Anyone can helpme about how to correct this error? no further logs on this error.

One of the issues could be with the client pointing to wrong location on the destination / target system.
