Hi,

If I <b>reinstall </b>the JWS with different version and path, then where all, do i need to mention this new product version and path?

i have changed the path in Env variable but where else to change?

from a XI IR and ID perspective you need not do anything special or any registration.

hi,

you can run "javaws" on the command line or if you use java 1.6 you have to run "javaws -viewer". there you can select which JRE is used per default by all applications.

how do i run "javaws" on command line?

if run on command line, it says "javaws" is not recognized as an internal or external command...

then your JRE is not installed correctly, or the JAVA_HOME environment variable is not set.

where do i set JAVA_HOME variable? and how to see the JRE is not installed properly?
