Re-assignment of Purchasing Group causing shopping cart error.

We had a need to re-assign a purchasing group from one org unit to another within the org plan. New carts can be created for this purchasing group without a problem, however when approvers access shopping carts for this purchasing group that were created prior to the change they get the error:

Organizational unit 0 5005733 does not exist. Inform System Admin.

Organizational 0 5005733 is not a purchasing group. Inform System Administration.

This is because this is no longer the valid org unit that the purchasing group is assigned to.

Is there any way to update the org information on the old shopping carts to reflect the org unit that the purchasing group is now assigned to?

I'm not familiar with the 'Reassign Workload' transaction, can you provide any further details?

Hi,

You can use the BADI "BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI" to change the P grp.You can use FM BBP_OM_FIND_PURCH_GRPS_BEI_2 to get the P.org & O.grp maintained in the Org structure and then acc chnage the Old Pgrp values to the valid new ones.
