New table index activate

Hi Guys,

I need activate a new index for GLPCA table (have 600 millions rows) in my system R/3 with i570 DB server with 6 CPU.

Any suggestions? i planning run this process at weekend, but i dont now if this process have a full lock table or only partial locking.

You know how much time run this activate?

Hi Ernesto,

you can be happy on that )

There are locks on that tables because of the CREATE INDEX, but they do not conflict with anything on iSeries

=> You can run your system live in parallel ...
