SRM or ABAP????

Hi All,

No auotmatic email confirmations back to requester and no PO's are being recieved by the vendors once PO's are approved in SRM (extended classic version).

I have noticed in SM37 that a job ZPURCHASE_ORDER_OUTPUT has been cancelling for the last few days. I have a feeling this is the reason why confirmations and PO's are not being emailed.

In the log ABAP/4 the message reads,

processor: STRING_OFFSET_TOO_LARGE Job Cancelled.

Does anyone know what this error means and how I can fix it? It is using a standard SAP programe called RSPPFPROCESS.

Hi

Which SRM and R/3 Backend versions are you using ? Let me urgently.

Seems like a bug in either the SRM system or in the job log of "ZPURCHASE_ORDER_OUTPUT", due to problem in the standard function module .

Do let me know incase you still have any queries.

Extended classic version 5.5 and ECC 6.
