MaxDB Database Studio for Linux

Can this be used for version 7.6 ? I see it says for 7.7 only but why wouldn't it work for 7.6 ?

The above statement where you download it from made me think it was only for 7.7 but I guess I was wrong.

Hmm.. one could read it like this - yes

I understand it as "you can use the 'old' DBMGUI" up to and including version 7.6, for 7.7 you need to use the database studio...

Maybe one should add a definite sentence to that page because it can really be a bit misleading

Hi

The MaxDB Database Studio tool is used to manage MaxDB databases from version 7.7 onwards <u>down to 7.5 version</u>, Database Studio replaces the database tools Database Manager GUI, SQL Studio, and Synchronization Manager and also offers additional functions, such as a GUI for MaxDB WebDAV and the Loader.
