on referring the following BLOG:

/people/vijaya.kumari2/blog/2006/01/26/how-do-you-activate-abap-proxies

1. here in this blog the all configuration settings should be done in R/3 only,

2. While creating HTTP connection what is the Target Host name and the Service we need to enter here, ( IS IT AN XI host and service OR R/3 Host and service).

Kishore

Hi Kishore,

Try this up.

Go to the object navigator [SE80], select your package and move to the Enterprise Services-> Client Proxies. Right click on that and choose Activate.

Hope this may help you.

Cheer,

Also refer this help for configuration which need to be done at XI side:

You need to create the RFC destination at the SAP XI side:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/0b/8512417301ee6fe10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm

Hi Chirag,

Please let me clear about the following things,

1 & 2 Steps We need to do in R/3 side

3rd step we need to in XI Side is it right ????

If So, as we already have those 2 RFC's Defined in XI pointing to SLD Connection, no need to Define those Once Again.

Why Because if those 2 RFC's are not Present in XI, then We didn't get the SLDCHECK Success.

Please Clear all the Points.

Hi,

RFC's LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI is already configured in XI side, so that then only SLDCHECK is giving successs

WE can able to see those 2 configured RFC's in XI and this Registered Server Program ID is maintained at Visual Admin..

then i think no need to configure this 2 RFC's in XI side,

please let us know any thing else...

regards,

Kishore
