newbie question

Hi

I am new in SAP. Just downloaded and installed NetWeaver ABAP preview. Activated web with IT00 test site. Everithing works great. But when I tryed to create "hello_world" BSP application in SE80 it gave me an error "User DDIC may not make changes in customer systems".

My question is does this preview have user to login with rights to create BSP application?

Hello Slav,

The DDIC user is a system user. You cannot use that to create your applicatios. Go to transaction SU01 and make a copy of the DDIC like "DEVELOPER" "BASIS" or anything you want and then try with this new user.

Not 100% sure but in the 620 Preview you can simply create a new user in SU01 (make a copy of DDIC user)
