Customer Potential Anaysis in sales Support (CAS) in SD

Can anybody tell me the complete business flow and requirement of Customer Potential anaysis with example. I am only intrested in SD part. Forecasting and palnning is part of PP also but it is there is SD also??

Actually my requirment is to enter customer potential (Target sale) ( Sales employee wise) and give reports after comparing with actual sales...

Please help..my next option is abap development but i want something in Standard only.

You get info on potential analysis in SOP. That is in spr-img-production-sop
