Hi,

when I'm trying to Access SXMB_IFR

it gives me the error

5<b>00 Internal server Error

Exception

An internal error occurred. Contact your XI administrator.

java.lang.NoClassDefFound error.</b>

and with somebody's suggestion I ran SLDCHECK.

here i"m receiving

<b>connection to SLD does not work

RFC ping was successful.</b>

and also when I'm opening <i>http://starxi:50000/sld </i> it prompts for the User ID and password

and i gave <b>xiappluser </b>and password.. but authorization fails.. but userID an password are correct also the user is not locked n has correct role associated...

please somebody help with this.

thanks in advance.

Hi Prema,

Check RFC connection are working fine.

If you are getting authorization error then it must be authorization issue of the user try using xisuper user.

Try using this problem analysis guide.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/78/20244134a56532e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm

I would use XISUPER and not XIAPPLUSER...

Check roles - http://www.erpgenie.com/sap/netweaver/xi/xiauthorizations.htm

The Error 500 sounds like the Java Engine hasn't started/isn't up... This could cuase the authorisation problems if the UME is not being accessed.

If the SLD is on the same Java stack, it could be linked.

Check in the "deploy" section of the Visual Admin - select applications and check to make sure everything is running.

Barry,

b4 posting the error, i had used the trouble shooting guide:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/78/20244134a56532e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm

but that was not helping...

and b4 using the XIAPPLUSER i had used XISUPER for logging in.. but even that wouldn't be of much help...

and how do you see whether <b>Java Engine hasn't started/isn't up.</b>?

and when i checked the "deploy" section of the Visual Admin, some of the applications have not been started.. those are:

<b>sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.ispeak.app

sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.security.archiving.mdb

sap.com/com.sap.ip.me.insttool

sap.com/com.sap.xi.ibresources

sap.com/com.sap/tcTechSrvXML_DAS</b>

and when i want to start them, they are not starting....

how do i start them?

and when I want to open SLD main page http://<host>:<port>/sld

401 Unauthorized.

Access Denied

Pinkle,

I could Test connection for SAPSLDAPI and it gives me the <b>connection type</b> in KB and <b>TCP/IP connection</b> in msec.. i dont find any error.. i gues this is working..

n same thing with LCRSAPRFC .. i guess even this is working...

and parameters in SLDAPICUST are <b>Conn, prim (ticked), starxi , 50000, XIAPPLUSER</b> respectively.. which i guess is correct....
