BAPIs in DP

Hi Gurus,

I understand that BAPIS are more often used in SNP and PPDS. But my question is do we use BAPIs in DP as well? Can some body please give me examples of the BAPIs used in DP?

Hi Raj - You are right - PPDS and SNP are more faceted and therefore more BAPI's exist. You can always use transaction BAPI or go to SE37 and type in BAPI_* to search for BAPI's. The most common DP BAPI's begin with the following (use SE37):

BAPI_PBSRVAPS* - planning book interaction

BAPI_CUBE* - info cube interaction

BAPI_TSSRVSCM* - time series interaction

BAPI_IOBJ* - infoobect interaction

Most of the above have a GETDETAIL, GETLIST and CHANGE (or CHANGEKEYFIGVAL) suffixes that provide the retrieval or changing of values.
