Hi All,

Anyone knows what is the parameter that affect how many days to keep records in the table SXMSPFRAWH? Looks like as of now it deleting entries after 30 days....as it kept growing for 30 days and started to decrease today..we did go through the SAP note 820622, all the parameters and jobs already implemented as per note.

I am nor sure if we need to implement correction instructions in SAP note 1082836. Please advise.

Thank You,

Dear Indrasena,

let me start with a few word on performance data. Basically

there are two types of performance data:

- raw data that is stored to SXMSPFRAWH (and another table)

- aggregated data

The lifecycle of raw data that you have mentioned is controled by

- its status

- configuration parameter PERF-DAYS_TO_KEEP_DATA-

MEASUREMENT_ITEMS

I.e. raw data can be deleted from table SXMSPFRAWH if and only if the

aggregation job SAP_XMB_PERF_AGGREGATE completed sucessfully.

Most likely this was not the case in your system, so the raw

data piled up in table SXMSPFRAWH.

By scheduling the house-keeping jobs frequently you can ensure

that aggregation is done in time, so raw data can be purged

from SXMSPFRAWH according to setting of above mentiond parameter.

Please do NOT apply 1082836. This note has been created for a

special situation. The correction instruction attached to this

note shall be applied only following consultation with

XI Development Support.

SAP_XMB_PERF_REORG & SAP_XMB_PERF_AGGREGATE are the only

relevant jobs here. Other deletion reports, report RSXMB_REFRESH_ADAPTER_STATUS

and OSS note 1098550 do not apply in this case.

Check the following...

1. Make sure that you have run deletion job as well (NOT THE ARCHIVE DELETION).

2. Also look at sap note 1098550 if it is applicable.

3. Background job "RSXMB_REFRESH_ADAPTER_STATUS" is scheduled.

4. Schedule background jobs SAP_XMB_PERF_REORG & SXMS_PF_REORG as per Note 820622.
