If u want to configure adapters pls refer XI30SR1 inst guide page 46.

Also refer the following link:

Hi,

Adapter monitoring can be configured in 2 ways:

1. CCMS monitoring for adapter engine.

2. Alert Framw work for messages in adapter engine.

for step 1 you need to enable CCMS monitoring in Visual Admin for adapter engine and need to create/deploy CCMS agent on J2EE engine. Search for CCMS guide for step-by-step information.

Alert Framework: is good tool if you are only interested in message level alerts. Create alert rule for messages from adapter engine only. again refer to very good guides for alert management on SDN.
