Dear Gurus,
While installing a new ABAP instance of NetWeaver 2004s (7.0) SR2, in
the phase of creating accounts the installation fails with error:
" FSL-01001 Unable to check existence of account
<domain>\SAP_BWD_GlobalAdmin. Windows cannot find the network path. Verify
that the network path is correct and the destination computer is not
busy or turned off. If Windows still cannot find the network path,
contact your network administrator."
Notice that after several tries, I tried to run the installation with a
domain admin and it still failed. I do not want to create the it manually because
it is a temporary solution. Does anyone know why this happens ?
Please advice,
Dimitry Haritonov
Try making a standalone installation, it seems that somewhere when you are installing you are specifying a domain controller server or so because its trying to verify a network path to find the windows sap accounts?!
Start the installation again and check each one of the options when you are installing the Netweaver.
Good luck,
