Status Profile in Q info record

In SPRO help it mentioned,

"If necessary, assign an inspection type (which indirectly assigns a

task list usage) to the statuses in the profiles."

But where can i assign insp type?

I cant find the field for insp type assgnment anywhere?

Also please explain this scenario of supply relationship in detail.

I have idea of it but never used it and trying now.

Hello Sandip,

you use the existing profiles QM_P_001 and QM_P_002 as reference:

Transaction QCC0

-> QM in Logistics

-> QM in Procurement

-> Define Status of Supply Relationships (select)

- Assign delivery status for inspection type

Here you can view and create your own delvery status

(Prerequiste is that you have created a correspondent Status profile)

<b>Status profile</b> will be assigned to the insepction lot processing details of inspection type in SPRO>QM>Quality Inspection>Inspec lot creation>Maintain Inspection types.

<b>Supply relationship</b> is all about confirming a vendor for long term procurement. Example of it is, first you procure materials and will inspected for Qualification of that vendor. Next, again you procure material from the vendor, after he is qualified in the previous lot , I mean the lot is accepted with no defects. This time the will be treated as Pilot lot and similarly for Series and finally the Vendor will be confirmed for regular delivery after acceptance of all these lots. So, after each and every inspection you carry out, you`ve to set the status accordingly.
