Hello,
In the main window, I have defined a new window. In this window I have a text element. In this text element I define the character format to be used for the different field. When I save and activate, the character format that I have defined is lost: the field that contains the character format is empty.
Anybody has met this problem ?

Thank you for your help, I found the reason : the field on which I want to apply the character format was not selected entire.

Include the smartstyle in the ouput options of the text element.

If you have defined Global Style in the form attributes, it will consider only those formats.

May be you forgot to crate this style in Style, first you create Style and Activate it and then assign that particular style to your Smartform.

Hi Friend,
Pleaes use style for defination of character format and paragraph format.
( transaction SMARTSTYLE)
Include this style in Form Interface.
Then you can use that character format in all over smart form.
Hope it will solve your problem.
