hi sd gurus,

my material description is more than 60 characters, but to a max we can describe only 40 char while creating, can any body suggest me how to do this,

if we maintain the description in sales text tab, can we get the description in output, if we take a printout, can any body guide me,

hi,

i dont think its possible to increase the field length. however u can maintain in text which can be flown to o/p. ask ur ABAP consultants to help u in this.

you just mantain it in material master basic data -1..........>basic data text

hey this is abap work . ask u r abaper change that field char to 60. he change the lenght of that description .

actually table is created in sap is top to bottom approach, through having

domain , data element and table. combination of these create a table.

so u r filed lengh is designed in 40 cha . so it changes abaper to 60.
