company code on Bid Invitation.

Hi experts,

When a bid invitation is created, it is always created with company code 0001. How is this company code derived?

Is it possible to change the company code, depending on the chosen location?

Anybody experience with this?

We are on an extended classic scenario.

If you look into BBP_PD you can see that a company code is assigned.

My users is located under a purchase group with only company code 0007 as attribute. The purchase organisation has no company code assigned. Still, when creating a bid invitation, the system keeps setting company code 0001 in the bid invitation document. This is a problem because afterwards, when generating a PO, it is also in the wrong company code.

Hi Tom,

The BBP_PD shows all the data you have entered in the portal while creating bid invitation and further document status (like created, complete,approved,published etc)

If at all any Co.code is shown it should be shown as a header under Organizations. However only Proc_org, Proc_Group & Proc_org_Resp are shown under that sub head.

Think you have misten some entry with Co.code.You might be referring to line item no. as Co.code.

Thnx for your answer. In BBP_PD, I can see in the header table BBP_PDHGP that CO_CODE is set to 0001. Indeed, you can not choose a company code on bid invitation. But at the moment that a purchase order is automatically generated from bid, how is the company code derived for the PO at that moment? Any idea?

Hi Tom,

In a bid invitation can you please tell us under which tab you get the company code as 001.

In the basic data of bid invitation you have only P.Org and P.Group and there is no company code.The company code will be the one to which the P.Org and P.Groups belong to.

I have not seen such a thing till now. It would be better if you can explain your issue in detail to help you further.
