cat2-approval procedure

i am fresher and new to ps..when v release a data from cat2.we need to approve,but i am nt able to approve the data.

Transaction Code: CATS_APPR_LITE

You can also drill down in SAP menu to: PS>Progress>Confirmation>Time Sheet>Approval-->Approve working times.

hi...

i have gone through the menu path...i have done this before but i am getting error has "no data found".In cats for service provider there is record working times so can i approve data here.

Hi,

There are 3 basic transactions of time entry:

1. CAT2: Record time

2. CATS_APPR_LITE: Approving the entry. The data entry profile defines whether approval is required or not. In your case, it seems approval is not required.

3. CAT5: Transfer to PS

Follow the earlier path till Timesheet goto Transfer and Project Systems further, you will find Transfer over there.

hi..

i have gone through all this t.c.but i have to approve...and i can approve in cats service provider.But the transver to hr is nt happening,the table catshr doesnt contain any data.

Do you mean to transfer data to HR? Use CAT6 in that case.
