Adobe form not opening directly through reader 8.1.1 but through browser.

Hi Gurus,

Two of my adobe forms which were opeinig fine in 7.0.9 are not opening in adobe reader 8.1.1. We applied the required hotfixes as per the SAP note. but still it does not open in reader 8.1.1.

We are in NW04s SP9

Tried both with xACF and ZCI layouts.

Kindly consider.Any suggestions are welcome.

Hello Antony,

this problem was known at SAP. The problem is with the ZCI script file.

Please read note: #1104060 and update your ZCI script, and rerender the form with the new template.

Thanks for your prompt response.

Currently, I'm having problem with the Adobe Reader save prompt displayed too often and the message is asking, "Do you want to save?"

Any helps would be greatly appreciated and points will be rewarded.

I'm unable to find any notes or documentation regarding this problem.

Niki this problem is not known to me. What you mean by to often? This info is usally displayed if you want to close the reader.

Hi Antony,

did you solve your problem? I installed everything and tried the DynamicForm tutorial. With Acrobat Reader 7.0.9 storing and opening from filesystem works. With Acrobat Reader 8.1.1 storing works but opening from file system fails. The Patces for the Livecycle Designer 7.1 are installed.

We are in the process of upgrading PDF to version 8.1.1, what do you mean by opening from file system fails?
