Upgrading J2EE Engine 6.2

Hello,

We are working with EP5.0 SP5 Patch 3 HotFix 11.

With Default J2EE 6.2 installation. After J2EE installation, we have not applied any patch (patch Level)for J2EE. The latest PL for J2EE 6.2 is 35.

***Can we directly apply patch (PL 35)?

OR do we need to go in sequence i.e. from PL 1 To PL 35....

Hello Sunil,

Patches for the java part of SAP installations like the j2ee are cummulative. That means you can allways install the latest patch.

This is NOT the case for ABAP patches. They need to be applied sequentially.

Keep in mind, the architecture of j2ee 620 has changed drastically with patch 21 (or was it 22?). You will need to check some extra notes to get your j2ee running.
