Upgraded: SGEN is taking more 26 hours.

HI,

I have upgraded from 04 to 04s. I ran SGEN last night, Its been already 26 hours, and 87 % only so far. Any idea why and any fix on that?

HI Warren Wong,

I have done upgrade before and SGEN did not take that long. The only difference is I had the copy of DEV, and this time I have the copy of PRD. I have more ram as well now.

Anyways, Notes were helpfull but I meet those requirements.

Generally, running SGEN will take a while. The SGEN tool is used to regenerate the ABAP sources. Please take a look at note 985845 and 1008386
