Hi Friends ,
I am new to RFID . Our scenario is we are using
MS Biztalk <> controller (connector ) <-> SAP AII ( It has to talk with R3 ) .
My question is

1. How the controller will talk with SAP AII ? (We are using Webservices - in )
2. Can you please explain to me how to consume the WEBSERVICE to SAP AII ?
3. Vice versa how to expose the webserice from SAP AII ?
IS MY QUESTION IS CORRECT ?
Depend upon the tag reading i have to give command to R3 , To create PO like that .
Can you please give some brief intro as how ti works ?
Thanks & Regards.,
V.Rangarajan
Hi ,
SAP AII runs on SAP WebAS of Netweaver .You can expose any RFC enabled funtion Module as a SAP webservice in SAP WebAS using transaction SE80.

Hi Ranga Rajan,
As suggested by Ashish please go through the suggested links
Also some highlevel guidelines to consume webservice
first step is to release webservice in the concerned system. The relevant transactions are SICF,WSCONFIG & WSADMIN
second would be to provide the WSDL to consumer along with URL of the service provider. The service provider will be AII & consumer will be biztalk. The URL in consideration will have following form at http://server:port/path?sap-client=
The path in consideration will be of concerned webservice.
then last would be to test the connection
I hope this will give you some direction. Please search for "How to consume webservice" in SDN you will get detailed steps.
Thanks and regards,

Hi Rajan,
SAP has defined scenarios for configuring SAP AII.
I suggest you to refer to config guides at www.service.sap.com/scm
Refer RFID section and you can look for flexible delivery scenario.
Here you will find information on how to configure SAP AII with R/3 and device controllers.
Also to know more about SAP AII product, refer to help.sap.com under SAP Business suite.
Hope this helps to make a beginning.
