catalog does not open in MS Internet Explorer after SRM 4.0 patch

Hello all,

we patched our SRM 4.0 system from SP08 to SP12. Now it is impossible for us to open any catalog - the first time we try it, a window opens and shows the content of the originating (SRM) window, the second time nothing happens.

We use the standard call structure to open internal (CCM 2.0) and external (punchout) catalogs in external windows.

The error occurs in Internet Explorer only, but not in Mozilla Firefox - unfortunately, the IE ist company standard.

Do you have any suggestions what might cause our problem?

In such case of strange behaviour - sometimes cache deletion is helpful. As well look up if there are any SLG1 entries pointing to another issue.

Hi Richard,

there are no SLG1 entries, and I have deleted the IE cache several times.

I believe that the IE requests some cookie (or other) information that Mozilla don't need and that was sent by SRM until the update to SP12.

Does anbody know if there were such changes in SRM 5.0 SP12?
