Syndication of qualified tables in XML format.

Hi all, i want to syndicate my data to a remote system in ML format .my data includes Qualified tables also.when i go to destination properties and select option as XML schema present there .but while mapping destination with source fields the schema does not include all the fields of my data so plz tell me how to do changes in the XML schema or otherwise how to make a new XML schema and where to define it.

Hi Ankit,

We can view the qualified tables from the syndicator. Probably the XMl Scema that you are using is not the updated one. Hence Export Repository again and Using Xomlite create an XSD. Mention this Schema in the Console.

From the Syndicator, Choose the XSD from the Destination Properties.

Then For mapping the Qualified Tables, you will have to map the Fields inside the Qualified table fot the source and the destination side.

Along with that, for qualified tables, you will have to also have to map the PARENT node ( generally, is the qualifier table name) for the Qualified table on the source and the destination sides. This step is however not required for look up flats.

Hi Ankit,

It is possible that you are not able to view the qualifier fields in the destination schema this could be possible as syndicator can only syndicate records which are present in the fields available in the data manger .

As one cannot see the qualifier field directly under the fields in the data manager it is not visible in the syndicator as well.

If you are syndicating in the csv format you have an option of creating that field manually in the destination item.
