error Idocs in R3

hi all,

i am working with FILE TO IDOC scenario sending vendor data to R3 system

i have configured IR, ID objects successfully

For testing sent vendor xml data using RWB-Component Monitoring .

SXMB_MONI is showing success message

but at <b>R3 side in we02 idoc had status 56 reading PARTNER PROFILE NOT CONFIGURED </b> .

so in the R3 system configured the following:

in BD54 created logical system QWERT for the partner no

configured inbound partner profile in we20 with

partner no: QWERT

partner type: LS

message type: CREMAS

process code: CRE1.

my problem is <b>even after configuring partner profile in we20 at R3 system

idoc has the status 56 and says PARTNER PROFILE HAS NOT CONFIGURED.</b>

plz help me in resolving the issue.

Did you do the configuration required in IDX1 and IDX2 on XI machine?

hi all

i have create in the XI system

RFC destination in SM59.

Port in IDX1.

IDX2 is filled with metadata as idoc has reached the R3 system

my problem is with IDOC error status 56.

HI Bhasker,

Check how are the control record values being populated.

Are they populated from the payload, if yes, check your mapping and se what values are populates for Sender partner .

The partner profile should be maintaned for the value that comes in the control record.

hi all

thank u for ur responses, i have checked with my sender logical system it was maintained in small letters and in R/3 system it was searching for the combination of qwert and LS for Partner no and Partner type in EDPP1.

then i changed the logical system name in business system to Capital letters .then it was successful sent and received the idocs in R/3 system.

this means the <b>LOGICAL SYSTEM IN BUSINESS SYSTEM IN SLD FOR THE FILE SYSTEM SHOULD BE MAINTAINED IN CAPITAL LETTERS BECAUSE IN R/3 SYSTEM LOGICAL SYSTEM ARE TAKEN AS CAPITAL LETTERS BY DEFAULT </b>

PLZ CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG.

Could you please check <b>Partner number</b> under <b>Sender information</b> in IDOC Control record in R3 side. it should match with WE20 Partner No: QWERT.

if not matching create partner profiles with new partner number(From IDOC control record) in WE20.

Please let me know if there is any problem in resolving this issue.
