initial authorizations with ACL

Hi,

we want to use ACL's in EasyDMS and in SAP. When creating a new DIR, there should be assigned an initial authorizations-group, depending on either the username or the labor/office set in this DIR.

Is there any way to assign an initial authorizations-group, when a new DIR is created ?

Thank you for your help

Hi Iring,

I regret to inform you that this behavior was changed due to customer needs because unwanted ADMIN authorizations were created in former times which lead to authorization problems for other users.

Now the user has to navigate to the authorization tab and create the authorizations manually when he creates a new document info record in EasyDMS.

Best regards,

Christoph

Hi Christoph,

thanks for the answer.

So the only way is to make BADI-implementation and set the authorization with the function CVAUTH_SET_AUTHORIZATIONS.

Hi Iring,

yes, the implementation of a BADI would be usefull for this. Maybe BADI DOCUMENT_AUTH01 or DOCUMENT_MAIN01 may be usefull here.

Best regards,

Christoph

P.S.: Please reward points for usefull information

Dear all,

I checked the FM

CVAUTH_SET_AUTHORIZATIONS but there is no documentation.

How to fill the the fields of table "PERMISSIONS" ? (TYPE, ID...).

If I run the FM for an existing document, the table is not filled.

Regards
