when do we use VA & confg. tool & for which purpose.

VA and configtool are the online and offline tools to configure your J2EE engine.

Hi,

there is also a web based tool called NetWeaverAdministrator. It is located at

http://host:httpport/nwa. It provides some of the functionalities of the VisualAdministrator and in version CE7.1 it completly replace it.

Generally you'll use VA and config tool to administer the SAP J2EE runtime environment.
