I have faced with the strange behaviour of the cProject Suite: when I set the status 'Release' to the project definition only the project definition and the first phase with its embedded tasks are released. All the rest phases are not released. What is the reason?
PS all the necessary fields such as task type, responsible role and so on are filled.
You must have set approval Approve Phase indicator in the Define Phase types in SPRO.
Deactivate this if not required, else provide the approval (Approval Tab) for each phase in cprojects and then release further phases.

Hi,
actually it a Stage Gate approach.
In this case, you can control release or complete status of phases based on Predecessor's Status.
I.e: phase 2 will be released only when phase 1 is complete.
or
phase 2 cannot be completed unless phase 1 is completed, thus here you can release phase 2 as well as phase 1
These settings are possible based on Project Type:
For completing phase, in SPRO plz check if you have selected the check box for Project types.
so for different projects, you can have different settings..
Hope this helps
