STMS CONFIGURATION

Hi,

This is two system landscape dev--prd.Here dev server is domain controller in dev server in systems iam having dev and virtual system.

now we are freshly installed the prd server.now what are the steps we have to do the dev-prd server stms configuration.

Hai,

if it's two system configuration first set the parameter DIR_TRANS = ur Common transport directory in both Instance and Default Profiles.

Next Login to DEV as SIDADM and then login to SAP with tcode stms in client 000. Define the Transport Domain Controller, update and distribute the configuration..

Then Login to the PRD server, go to STMS, include this system in to the Domain Controller

Next login to the DEV System, give approval for the newly added system (ie. PRD)

make sure that both the systems are in same transport group.

then you can draw the transport route in DEV with the tcode STMS.
