I want to make one application server of CRM5.0. How can do it?

Hello Guys,

Just 3 month before we have upgraded or CRM server from 4.0 to 5.0 and it working fine. But due to high load i want to make one application server of CRM5.0. How can do it? Please provide me steps or any guide related to same.

How can i prepare for making application server for CRM5.0.

As it is very urgent for me..

Hi!

Check for the installation documentation and media for your CRM release and your platform. What you want to do is 'install a dialog instance'.

Thanks but i am confused that apart from this two mount point there is no any mount point required.

Also i have ides server and now we using it as application server. But this server have already ECC5.0 and i want to install dialog instance of CRM5.0 .

How i can start..

Also how many mount point are required (HP-UX) how they(application server) link with database server.

Hi Sachin,

The links i provided have the installation guide which is easy to use.

Between central instance and application server instance you generally need to share your

/sapmnt

and

/usr/sap/trans

to find the Netweaver installation guide, simply select your OS and DB combination and download the guide. The installation guide should also contain Application Server install procedure.
