Error while creating Shopping cart (SRM EBP)

Hi,

We are implementing SRM 4.0 ( SP06) in strategic sourcing business scenario with backend R/3 (5.0).

while creating shopping cart we are getting error message as follows

NO LOGICAL SYSTEM FOR FI IS MAINTAINED.INFORM SYSTEM ADMIN.

ENTER THE COMPANY CODE.

NOT POSSIBLE TO CALCULATE TAX.

---

we are using tax calculation and pricing as follows

1) tax calculation in R/3 backend system.

2) simplified pricing for classic scenario.

Check the setting for Backend system in SPRO. There is one col called FI validation. Also Local checkbox should be initial.

A relevant Note is 539720

For using Simplified pricing instead of IPC Please check if:

<b>1) BADI Implementation -> se19 -> "BBP_PRODUCT_PRICE" is activated.

2) BADI Implementation -> se19 -> "IPC_UPD_PROD_BUFFER2" is de-activated.</b>

The note refers to "IPC_UPD_PROD_BUFFER" instead of "IPC_UPD_PROD_BUFFER2". I could not find the one the note refers to in my system.

have you already checked the SRM Server customizing if a logical system is available?
