Receiver XI Adapter: Error 401

Hi All,

I am getting the below error in a file to proxy(XI Adapter) scenario. What is the role that i need to add to the user that i am using on the XI Adapter?

"HTTP response contains status code 401 with the

description User not authorized for message

processing"

Role similar to XIAPPLUSER

Role SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER

Hi,

You have to use the user PIAPPLUSER for Pi 7.0 or XIAPPLUSER for XI3.0 or any user which is having the same role as PIAPPLUSER / XIAPPLUSER.

And you also have to use logon with Non-sap user.

Also if in case your file is not being picked up then you can ask sap basis or by yourself have your J2EE engine restart as

try SMICM->administration->local J2EE instance->send soft shoutdown with restart.
