Hi!
I have installed nwds 7.0 sp12 from service.marketpace but the mdk feature is of version 2.5.12.
do we get mdk 2.5 version only in nwds 7.0. shoudn't we get mdk 7.0 with nwds 7.0.
also the mdk 2.5 version that i have here is sp12 which is a very old version of the 2.5 technology. Can anybody please explain me this ambiguity?
Thanks n Regards,
Kapoorchand.
HI,
you could try to download th latest version from SDN. It says it is MI2.5SP19 and 2004s. This is the most actual version and you can find it here:
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/downloaditem?rid=/webcontent/uuid/bb59e758-0501-0010-ce8e-d8be0af8b8... [original link is broken]
In general it is correct that the MDK version shown in the decomentation is always a little behind the actual patch level.

Oliver

Kapoorchand,
The MDK is already part of the NWDS 7.0.
You don't need to download any MDK separately for NWDS 7.0
But after the NWDS installation, you need to open the MDK Perspective under:
Windows > Open Perpective > Mobile Infrastructure.
Then, it should give you the MDK toolbar in the toolbar area.
You can ignore the MDK version since it is just part of the NWDS. As long as you have the latest NWDS, you're fine.
