Changes In R3

Hi All,

In webdynpro if we are reimporting a model then we have to restart the J2EE engine .

But suppose there are other changes in R3 settings apart from changes in function modules then how can we adapt to those changes in webdynpro .

What necessary settings we have to do then in NWDI .

IF there are any changes in the Strucure of BAPI , [in this case you need to reimport the model]then only you nedd to restart the J2EE Engine.

if there are any normal changes there is no need to restart the engine

For what changes we have to reimport the FM and restart the j2ee engine?

Structure changes means what?

(Extra fields,increasing field length r comes under structure change?)

Changes like modifying the data type, return value, name of the method, adding a new attribute,deleting an attribute,

if changes which reflect webdynpro directly ,then we need to restart the engine
