Opportunity archiving in CREM 5.2


We have a requirement to archive opportunities. I know there is a field available on the opportunity details - "Can be archived". What is the process after this field is checked ? Is there a workflow on the CRM backend, that some administrator can run some job to archive these opportunities ?

Management want's their users to be able to identify and check opportunities to be archived or deleted and then process on the server would take care of that.

I'm aware of the Note 541090.
