can anyone help me with the different phase in SAP APO project and what do they do in each of the phase with durations in each phase .

depends on what kind of project you are doing - implementation, rollout, upgrade...? also depending on the kind of Functionality you are implemention, and how it is integrated in the landscape with the rest of the system

you can also choose from a host of methodologies.... i would suggest you take a look at the ASAP methodology -http://service.sap.com/asap

In Implementaion project you will have following phases as per the ASAP

Phase 2) Blue Print

Supply Chain Assessment

APO training

Functional Blueprinting

Phase 4) Go Live Preparation

As Harish mentioned.... Diffrent Phases of project is depend on the project type. SAP suggest to use ASAP methodologies for SAP projects.

Now a days they ask to implement Solution manager for project implementations/rollouts/upgrade.

Which type of project you are looking for... if you provide details of it we can help you out further.

Some company are using there own project methodologies
